About Me

Hi, I’m so glad you’re taking the time to get to know me. I know reaching out for support isn’t always easy, so thank you for taking this first step. I’d love to share a little about my journey and how I came to do the work I love.

I’ve always known I wanted to help people. I started college as a psychology major, drawn to the idea of understanding others and being part of their growth. While I wasn’t sure exactly what that would look like, shadowing a speech-language pathologist gave me a more tangible direction. Inspired, I pursued a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology—but as I started practicing, I realized I wanted to do more than just support communication; I wanted to support the whole person.

That led me to counseling. I returned to school for a degree in School Counseling, and thanks to a friend’s encouragement, I completed the requirements to become dual-licensed in both school and clinical counseling. My work with kids and teens began in a teen residential facility, then expanded to school and office-based settings. I loved connecting with young people, but I often saw them return to home environments that hadn't changed. Some families were open to healing together—but others expected the child to change while everything else stayed the same. That felt limiting, and frustrating.

Eventually, a friend mentioned an opportunity to work with adults. I stepped into the challenge and found it deeply rewarding. I worked in outpatient, IOP, PHP, and residential settings, expanding my understanding of trauma, addiction, and recovery. For the first time, I felt I could support people in a truly holistic way.

Alongside my clinical work, I committed to my own growth, becoming certified in Reiki, Yoga, and EMDR. These mind-body tools have helped me support clients on a deeper level and have transformed my personal journey as well.

Still, I found myself feeling limited by the constraints of agency work. I wanted to create a space where I could offer care that’s tailored, flexible, and authentic. That desire led me to open my own private practice—where I hope to meet you.

I believe healing happens when we’re supported as whole people-when every part of us is acknowledged with compassion and care. That belief guides my collaborative, person-centered approach. Whether you're navigating stress, trauma, life transitions, or simply feeling stuck, I'm here to walk with you through it.

Healing isn’t always a straight line. Growth can be messy. But you don’t have to do it alone.

Let’s connect when you’re ready.
